Apple And Blackberry Snow Recipe
Apple And Blackberry Snow is a delicious dessert that you can prepare in a jiffy. I was surprised to see my children who normally hate fruits as well as eggs eating up this wonderful Apple And Blackberry Snow! You just have to try it!
Ingredients
1 lb baking apples, peeled and thinly sliced
2 cups fresh blackberries
6 tablespoons sugar, firmly packed
2 egg whites
Directions
1 Put the apples and blackberries into a 1.2 litre/2 pint (5 cup) mixing bowl. Cover tightly with plastic wrap,, and pierce.
2 Microwave on full power for 6 1/2 minutes, stirring once, half way through cooking. Allow to stand for 2 minutes.
3 Beat in the sugar.
4 Pass through a sieve into a 1.75 litre/3 pint (7 1/2 cup) mixing bowl, and leave to cool.
5 Beat the egg whites in a clean bowl with a clean whisk until they stand in soft peaks.
6 Using a metal tablespoon, fold the egg whites into the fruit mixture.
7 Pile into sundae glasses, and chill.
