Apple Aand Persimmon Cobbler Recipe
Ingredients
| Japanese persimmons - 4 | ||
| Apples | 4 (FILLING) | |
| Honey | 1 Tablespoon (FILLING) | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon (FILLING) | |
| Cloves | 1/4 Teaspoon (FILLING) | |
| Rolled oats | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (TOPPING) | |
| Almonds | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (TOPPING) | |
| Whole wheat flour | 2 Tablespoon (TOPPING) | |
| Cinnamon | 1 Teaspoon (TOPPING) | |
| Honey | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (TOPPING) | |
| Light margarine - 3 tablespoons | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven moderate to 350 °F.
2) Peel the persimmons and slice thinly. Take out the seeds.
MAKING
3) To prepare piling, in a large bowl add persimmons, apples, honey, cinnamon, and cloves.
4) Grease a 9-inch pie plate with nonstick spray.
5) Mound filling to fit.
6) Bake for 40 minutes.
7) To prepare topping in a medium add oats, almonds, flour, and cinnamon. Mix well.
8) Sprinkle honey over it.
9) Cut in margarine with a pastry mender and combine.
10) Take off from oven and add the topping.
11) Put back in oven and bake for 20 minutes.

12) Serve hot.
