 Japanese persimmons - 4
 Apples4 (FILLING)
 Honey1 Tablespoon (FILLING)

 Cloves1/4 Teaspoon (FILLING)
 Rolled oats1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (TOPPING)
 Almonds1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (TOPPING)
 Whole wheat flour2 Tablespoon (TOPPING)
 Cinnamon1 Teaspoon (TOPPING)
 Honey1/3 Cup (16 tbs) (TOPPING)
 Light margarine - 3 tablespoons

Directions

GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven moderate to 350 °F.
2) Peel the persimmons and slice thinly. Take out the seeds.

MAKING
3) To prepare piling, in a large bowl add persimmons, apples, honey, cinnamon, and cloves.
4) Grease a 9-inch pie plate with nonstick spray.
5) Mound filling to fit.
6) Bake for 40 minutes.
7) To prepare topping in a medium add oats, almonds, flour, and cinnamon. Mix well.
8) Sprinkle honey over it.
9) Cut in margarine with a pastry mender and combine.
10) Take off from oven and add the topping.
11) Put back in oven and bake for 20 minutes.

SERVING
12) Serve hot.
