Mini Meatball Appetizer Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 3 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Lean ground beef | 1/2 Pound | |
| 1/2 lb. lean ground veal | ||
| 1/2 lb. lean ground pork | ||
| 2 cooked medium potatoes, sieved | ||
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper white | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Ground allspice | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Cream | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | ||
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Brown onion until golden in 2 tablespoons heated butter in a large skillet.
Lightly mix in a bowl the meat, potatoes, onion, and a mixture of the salt, pepper, and allspice.
Add the egg, cream, and water, mixing thoroughly.
Shape into 3/4 to 1 inch balls and coat with flour.
Brown 2 to 3 tablespoons butter in the skillet.
Add meatballs and brown on all sides.
Transfer meatballs to a chafing dish and keep hot.
Provide fancy cocktail picks for spearing them
