Appetizer Lamb Meatballs Recipe
Ingredients
| Lean ground lamb | 2 Pound | |
| 2 teaspoons ground cumin seed | ||
| 2 teaspoons chopped fresh mint leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried mint leaves | ||
| Green onions | 2 Small, finely chopped | |
| Salt | 1 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs | ||
| Eggs | 2 | |
| Sour cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Caraway seed | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
For meatballs, mix together the ground meat, cumin, mint, onions, salt, pepper, crumbs, and eggs.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Place on greased, rimmed baking pans.
Bake in a 425° oven for 15 minutes or until well browned and no longer pink inside.
Arrange meatballs on a platter or in a chafing dish with toothpicks alongside.
Mix together the sour cream and caraway seed and serve in a bowl as a dipping sauce.
