Ingredients

 Lean ground lamb2 Pound
 2 teaspoons ground cumin seed
 2 teaspoons chopped fresh mint leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried mint leaves
 Green onions2 Small, finely chopped
 Salt1 1/2 Teaspoon
 Pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
 Eggs2
 Sour cream1 Cup (16 tbs)
 Caraway seed1 Teaspoon

Directions

For meatballs, mix together the ground meat, cumin, mint, onions, salt, pepper, crumbs, and eggs.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Place on greased, rimmed baking pans.
Bake in a 425° oven for 15 minutes or until well browned and no longer pink inside.
Arrange meatballs on a platter or in a chafing dish with toothpicks alongside.
Mix together the sour cream and caraway seed and serve in a bowl as a dipping sauce.
