Appetizer Ham Logs Recipe
Ingredients
| Ham | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 cup seasoned fine dry bread crumbs | ||
| Horseradish sauce | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Prepared mustard | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Celery salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Vegetable oil | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying) | |
| Pimiento strips | ||
Directions
Combine ham, egg and pepper in medium bowl; mix well.
Shape into 1-inch logs or balls.
Roll in bread crumbs.
Refrigerate, covered, 1 hour.
To make mustard sauce, combine horseradish sauce, mustard and celery salt in small bowl until well blended.
Refrigerate, covered, until serving time.
Heat 3 inches oil in heavy, large saucepan over medium-high heat until oil is 365°F; adjust heat to maintain temperature.
Fry ham logs, a few at a time, 2 to 3 minutes or until golden.
Drain on paper towels.
Garnish with pimiento strips.
