Appam Recipe

Ingredients
| Cream wheat | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Wheat flour | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Jaggery | 11/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Milk | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Frying Oil | 2 Cup (16 tbs) (For frying) | |
| Cardamom | 2 |
Directions
Soak rava in little water and milk for 30 minutes.
Mix maida, wheat flour and soaked rava together.
Melt jaggery in boiling water and mix this with the flour
mixture. Pound cardamom and add it to this mixture. Add edible
camphor.
Make small balls and deep fry in oil.

If im not wrong.... the picture you have uploaded is of 'AAPPAM' but the recipe details sounds like 'Appam'..
Aappam is a breakfast item like dosa but appam is a sweet snack , as you have clearly stated it to be small balls fried in oil .Your picture depicts the vellaappam that you have said as a combination for the vegetable stew. Picture and directions to cook contradicts.....
