Anzac Biscuits Recipe
Ingredients
| Rolled oats | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Coconut | 1 Cup (16 tbs), desiccated | |
| Flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Packed brown sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Ginger | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Butter | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 tablespoon golden or corn syrup | ||
| Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Boiling water | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix oats, coconut, flour, brown sugar and ginger in bowl.
Combine butter and golden syrup in saucepan.
Cook over low heat until butter melts, stirring constantly.
Add mixture of baking soda and boiling water; mix well.
Pour butter mixture into center of oat mixture, stirring until a moist and firm dough forms.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cold greased baking sheet.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Remove to wire rack to cool.
