Butter Rice Recipe

2 cups long-grain rice
 
2 tsp. salt
 
1 Tbsp. butter
 
4 cups water

Directions

In 4 qt saucepan, combine rice, salt, butter and water.
Bring to a vigorous boil, covered with tight-fitting lid on range.
Reduce heat as low as possible.
Cook 20-25 minutes.
Do not stir or lift cover.
Remove from heat.
Rest, covered, 10-15 minutes.
