Aniseed Beef Recipe
Ingredients
| Shin beef | 2 Pound | |
| Water | 4 Cup (64 tbs) | |
| Soy sauce | 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Ginger root slices | 4 | |
| Sherry | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Anise seeds/4 aniseed stars | 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon | |
| Sesame seed oil | 1 Teaspoon |
Directions
Trim beef, and cover with water.
Bring to boil, and skim.
Add soy sauce, sugar, ginger, sherry and anise, and cook over medium heat about 2 hours.
Add sesame-seed oil, and cook about 20 minutes longer.
Slice meat, and serve hot or cold.
