Angostura Chicken Barbecue Recipe
Ingredients
| Salad oil | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cider vinegar | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chili Sauce | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Orange juice | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Salt | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| 2 tbsp. angostura aromatic bitters | ||
| Oregano | 1/2 Teaspoon, crumbled | |
| Hot Sauce | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Broilers | 3 2 Pound, halved | |
Directions
GETTING READY
1) Preheat oven to temperature of 350 degrees.
MAKING
2) In a saucepan, combine all the ingredients except chickens. Cook on low flame for about 5 minutes.
3) In a large, shallow baking pan, place chickens in a single layer. Brush chickens with barbeque sauce.
4) For about 75 minutes, bake at 350-degrees or till the meat is tendered, brushing chickens frequently with sauce.
SERVING
5) Serve hot with remaining sauce.
