 Bacon strips2 1/2 Pound, separated

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Lay bacon strips on a rack in a shallow baking dish and bake for about 7 minutes, until partially cooked but still pliable.
Drain on paper towels and let cool slightly.
Place an oyster on one end of each bacon strip, roll up snugly, and pierce through with a toothpick to hold oyster and bacon securely in place.
Refrigerate until just before serving time.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place about half the angels, or as many as will fit without crowding, on a rack in baking dish and bake for 5 to 7 minutes, turning once or twice until bacon is crisp and browned all around.
Repeat with remaining pieces.
Serve hot.
