|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Granulated sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Milk||4 Cup (64 tbs), scalded|

When the chocolate is melted and all of the ingredients are combined, remove from the heat and let the syrup cool.
The syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.
To make the hot cocoa, pour 2 tablespoons of the chocolate syrup into each mug.
Pour the scalded milk over the syrup and stir to combine.
