 2 cups tightly packed fresh basil leaves or parsley
 Garlic2 Clove (5gm), crushed
 Olive oil1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 2 tablespoons walnut pieces
 Tomatoes28 Ounce, chopped
 2-ounce can anchovy fillets, drained and finely chopped
 Ground black pepper1/4 Teaspoon
 Parmesan cheese3 Tablespoon, grated

Directions

1. Put the basil, garlic, oil, and walnuts in the container of an electric blender or food processor. Blend or process until smooth.
2. Transfer the basil mixture to a medium-sized saucepan. Add the tomatoes, anchovy fillets, and pepper. Bring to a boil, stirring, and simmer for 5 minutes.
