Ingredients

 1/4 pound lean pork, finely cut
 Onion1 , sliced
 2 cups soup stock
 Rice1/2 Cup (16 tbs), uncooked
 Celery1 Bunch (100gm), cut into strips
 Salt1/2 Tablespoon
 Green pepper1 To taste, cut into strips
 Mushrooms1 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

Cut fat from meat and put in pan and cook pork in the fat together with onion until brown.
When brown, add celery, green pepper, mushrooms, uncooked rice, salt, and stock.
Cover and cook slowly for40 minutes.
Serve hot with chopped parsley garnish.
Coarsely chopped salted almonds arc a delicious addition, if desired.
