Ambrosia recipes are usually fruit salad recipes, which means that ambrosia is fresh, healthy, and full of flavor. The only exception would be when you add tons of cream. I always prefer my ambrosia just like Maria prepared it - with fresh fruits. Some variations that you can try would be with pineapples, grapes, and strawberries. The best part about an ambrosia recipe is that you can experiment without worrying too much about how it will turn out. Fruits usually taste great - no matter what.
