Amaretto Mousse Recipe

Amaretto Mousse has a Unlikely taste.The Sweet butter and Sugar gives the Amaretto Mousse Inconceivable taste.

Ingredients

 
4 tablespoons sweet butter
 
5 eggs
 
1 cup granulated sugar
 
1 1/2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
 
3/4 cup amaretti (tiny macaroons), crushed
 
1 1/2 tablespoons Amaretto liqueur
 
1 1/2 cups heavy cream, chilled

Directions

Melt butter in top part of a double boiler over simmering water.
In a bowl, beat eggs with sugar and add gelatin.
Add to melted butter and cook, stirring constantly, until thickened, 6 to 8 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Add 1/2 cup of the crushed amaretti and the Amaretto.
Blend well.
Cool, then refrigerate until mixture just begins to set.
Whip cream to soft peaks.
Gently fold into Amaretto mixture.
Spoon into 8 to 10 individual serving glasses or a serving bowl.
Chill until set, about 4 hours.
