Amaretto Fruit Medley Recipe
Ingredients
| Almonds | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| Sugar | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Nectarines | 6 , pitted | |
| 2 medium oranges, peeled and sectioned | ||
| Plums | 2 , pitted | |
| Amaretto | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
1. Combine almonds and sugar in a small nonstick skillet; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, 20 minutes or until sugar melts and coats almonds. Let cool. Break almond mixture into small chunks.
2. Place fruit in a large bowl; pour amaretto over fruit mixture, and toss gently. Cover and chill thoroughly. Spoon evenly into 10 compotes. Top evenly with almond mixture.
