Ingredients

 Unsalted butter1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Shallot1/3 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced
 Orange juice3/4 Cup (16 tbs), strained
 Lemonjuice1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Prepared mustard2 Tablespoon
 Apricots2 Cup (16 tbs), halved
 Ground pepper1 To taste
 1 cup Amaretto liqueur
 Slivered almonds1/2 Cup (16 tbs), toasted
 Salt To Taste

Directions

Melt butter in saucepan.
Add shallot, orange juice, lemon juice, mustard, apricots and salt and pepper and cook briefly to soften shallot and combine ingredients.
Add Amaretto and simmer, stirring occasionally, until sauce coats spoon, about 35 minutes.
Stir in slivered almonds just before serving.
