1 pkg active dry yeast
1 1/2 cups (355 ml) warm water
1 tbs (15 ml) nonfat dry milk
1 tbs (15 ml) molasses
1/2 tsp (3 ml) sea salt, optional
3 1/4 cups (780 ml) Rye Flour
1/2 cup (120 ml) Amaranth Flour
1 tsp (5 ml) caraway seeds Sesame Seeds, optional
Directions
Dissolve yeast in warm water; stir in milk, molasses and salt.
Add all flours.
Stir in caraway seeds.
Knead dough about 5 minutes.
Cut into 36 pieces and roll into sticks approximately 5 inches long.
Roll in sesame seeds.
Place on an oiled baking sheet, spray with water, then bake at 425°F (220°C) for 18-20 minutes or until lightly browned.
