Ingredients

 
1). 3 med. Potatoes
 
2). 1 onion (sliced)
 
3). 2 green chillies (finely chopped)
 
4). 1 large tomato (Finely chopped)
 
5). Chopped cilantro gor garnishing
 
6). 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
 
7). 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
 
8). 1 tsp red chilli powder
 
9). 1 tbsp coriander powder
 
10). 3 cloves
 
11). 1" piece cinnamon
 
12). 2 tbsp oil
 
13). Salt to taste

Directions

1. Pressure cook potatoes. Cut into cubes or slightly mash them.
2. Heat oil in a pan.Add cloves and cinnamon and saute for few seconds.
3. Add onions and fry till translucent.
4. Add ginger garlic paste, green chillies and mix it well.
5. Now add the red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder. Saute for few seconds.
6. Add tomatoes and 1/2 a cup of water. Cook till tomatoes are mushy.
7. Now add the potatoes, salt and required amount of water. (If you want to serve it with rice, add more water and if you are serving with roti, add less water).
8. Bring it to a boil and cover and cook it on a low heat for about 10 minutes stirring occasionally.
9. Serve hot garnished with cilantro.
