Aloo Matar Recipe
Ingredients
| Potatoes | 450 Gram | |
| Peas | 450 Gram | |
| Onions | 250 Gram | |
| Ginger | 10 Gram | |
| Garlic | 30 Gram | |
| Turmeric a pinch | ||
| Chilli powder | 5 Gram | |
| Coriander powder | 10 Gram | |
| Cumin powder a small pinch | ||
| Tomatoes | 225 Gram | |
| Curds | 60 Milliliter | |
| Cashewnuts | 15 Gram | |
| Garam masala a pinch | ||
| Fat | 100 Gram | |
Directions
1. Chop onions. Grind ginger and garlic into a smooth paste.
2. Boil potatoes. Peel and cut into quarters.
3. Shell peas.
4. Fry peas and potatoes. Remove.
5. Fry onions, ginger-garlic paste and spices (chilli powder, turmeric, coriander and cumin).
6. Add blanched tomatoes and simmer till spices are cooked.
7. Add well beaten curds, potatoes and peas and water, if required, and simmer till gravy is thick.
8. Add garam masala powder and remove.
