Alpine Fresh Figs Recipe
Ingredients
| 100 g/4 oz/1 cup pistachio nuts, chopped | ||
| 30 ml/2 tbsp light brown sugar | ||
| 1 cylindrical goats cheese, cut into 6 slices | ||
| Figs | 6 | |
| 6 fig or vine leaves | ||
Directions
Mix the nuts with the sugar on a plate.
Use to coat the goats' cheese slices completely.
Place in an airtight container and chill.
When ready to serve, quarter the figs.
Place a leaf on each of six individual plates.
Place a piece of the coated cheese in the centre with the four wedges of fig around.
Eat with dessert knives and forks.
