Ingredients

 100 g/4 oz/1 cup pistachio nuts, chopped
 30 ml/2 tbsp light brown sugar
 1 cylindrical goats cheese, cut into 6 slices
 Figs6
 6 fig or vine leaves

Directions

Mix the nuts with the sugar on a plate.
Use to coat the goats' cheese slices completely.
Place in an airtight container and chill.
When ready to serve, quarter the figs.
Place a leaf on each of six individual plates.
Place a piece of the coated cheese in the centre with the four wedges of fig around.
Eat with dessert knives and forks.
