Aloo Pyaz Recipe
I got to try out this Aloo Pyaj at my friend's place. My GOD, It was simply mind blowing! Seems like Indian food never lets you down. This recipe of Aloo Pyaj is one such example. It is an effortless Main Dish. The marriage of the incredible flavors of Vegetable with other ingredients is the secret to this Aloo Pyaj recipe. I cant believe you just have not tried my Aloo Pyaj recipe, yet.

Ingredients
Medium sized onions - 6 or
Spring onion - 2 large bunches, with leaves cut into pieces
Medium sized potatoes - 6, peeled and cut into pieces
Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder - 1 tsp.
Garlic - 6 cloves, chopped
Green chillies - 3, chopped
Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Oil or ghee - 2 tablespoons
Salt - to taste
Coriander leaves - a handful, chopped
Directions
MAKING
1 In a pan, heat the oil.
2 Add in cumin seeds, green chillies and garlic and fry until light brown.
3 Add in turmeric, coriander, chilli powder, salt and cook for about 3 minutes.
4 Add in the onion, potatoes and a cup of water.
5 Cook, covered on medium heat, until potatoes and onion are fully done.
6 Stir in the garam masala.
7 Cover and cook for another 3 minutes.
SERVING
8 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
