Ingredients

 
Curd - 500 gms. (thick and sweet)
 
Large potatoes - 4
 
Cumin seeds - 2 tsps.
 
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp. (optional)
 
Red chilli powder - 1 tsp.
 
Salt - to taste

Directions

MAKING
1 In a pan, boil the potatoes.
2 Carefully peel their skin.
3 Cut them into small pieces.
4 Tie the curd in a muslin cloth, to remove the excess water.
5 In a large bowl, combine the potatoes and curd.
6 Add a little milk to dilute the curd if it is too thick.
7 Stir in all the spices mixing well with a large spoon
8 Place it in the refrigerator for atleast 30 minutes.

SERVING
9 Serve cold with puris, parathas and other curries.
