Almondine Fish Recipe
Almondine fish is a simple yet flavorful recipe that can be prepared with a fish of choice. Broiled with margerine and lemon juice for flavor, the fish is cooked till flaky. Served with a lemony butter and almon sauce, the almondine fish can be served as a special treat for weekends for the family!
Ingredients
1 pound fish fillets, fresh or frozen, thawed Margarine or butter, melted Lemon Juice from Concentrate
1/2 cup margarine or butter
3 tablespoons Lemon Juice from Concentrate
1/4 cup sliced almonds, toasted
Directions
Preheat broiler.
Place fish on oiled cold broiler pan.
Brush fish with melted margarine and sprinkle with juice.
Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 10 to 12 minutes per inch of fish thickness, turning halfway through cooking and basting frequently.
Cook until fish flakes with fork.
Meanwhile, in small saucepan, melt 1/2 cup margarine; stir in 3 tablespoons juice and almonds.
