Ingredients

 
Vanilla ice cream - 1 qt.
 
Toasted macaroons - 12, crushed
 
Whipping cream - 1 pt.
 
Brown sugar - 1 box
 
Toasted almonds, crushed

Directions

MAKING
1) Freeze the ice cream till hard, then peel off the carton.
2) Place macaroon crumbs on a waxed paper.
3) Roll the ice cream in the crumbs and coat well.
4) Wrap in foil and place back in the freezer.
5) In a saucepan, pour the cream over the brown sugar and mix well.
6) Cook for about 1 hour, till the syrup coats the back of the spoon.
7) Slice the ice cream and pour the sauce over the slices.

SERVING
8) Top with almonds.
