Almond Butterscotch Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Firmly packed brown sugar | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Whipping cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3 tablespoons firm butter or margarine, cut into pieces | ||

| Slivered almonds | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), roasted | |
| Vanilla | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In a 4 cup glass measure, stir together sugar, cream, butter, and salt.
Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH (100%) for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes (stirring every minute) or until mixture boils.
Stir in almonds and vanilla.
Let stand, covered with wax paper, for 10 to 15 minutes to thicken.
