Almond Beef Hawaiian Recipe

Ingredients
3 Cups Water
1 Tbs. Chicken Seasoning Stock Base
1 Tsp. Butter
1 1/2 Cups Long Grain White Rice
2 Tbs. Vegetable Oil
1/4 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Lb. Sirloin, cut in 1/4 inch thick strips
1 Cup Chopped Celery
1 Medium Onion, chopped or sliced
1/2 Tsp. Ground Ginger
1 Tsp. Mei Yen Seasoning
2 Tsp. Cornstarch
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Cubed Green Peppers
6 Cherry Tomatoes, halved
1/2 Cup Slivered Almonds
Directions
Bring water to a boil with chicken stock base and butter.
Stir in rice.
Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
Heat 2 tbs. oil and garlic powder in skillet.
Stir in sirloin strips and brown.
Remove from pan and keep warm.
Add celery and onion, cover and beat for 1 minute.
Stir in ginger, Mei Yen seasoning, cornstarch, soy sauce, 1/2 cup water, beef, peppers, cherry tomatoes & almonds.
Heat, covered, for 1 minute.
Serve over rice.
