Almond Tuile Recipe
I may not be a nutritionist but can assure you of the fact that this Almond Tuiles recipe is Diabetic. It is a good option for those who are on Diabetic diet. Treat your near and dear ones with this amazing Almond Tuiles as a Dessert . Ingredients
2 egg whites, room temperature
1/3 cup granulated sugar replacement
2 tsp granulated fructose
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup blanched almonds, finely ground
1/4 cup melted margarine
1 tsp almond extract
Directions
Combine egg whites, sugar replacement, and fructose in a medium-size mixing bowl.
Beat until foamy and well blended.
Stir in flour, ground almonds, melted margarine, and almond extract.
Mix well.
Drop onto well-greased cookie sheet.
Use a fork dipped in water to flatten dough wafer-thin.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 8 minutes, or just until the dough has lightly browned around edges.
Use an oven mitt, and bend each wafer around a rolling pin.
Press gently against the rolling pin for a few second Slide wafer off pin, and place on cooling rack.
Cool tuiles completely.
