Almond Roca Recipe Video
Almond roca was actually a brand of chocolate. It had a toffee or chocolate coated with crushed almonds. Almond roca makes a nice food gift. This version of almond roca is much is the branded but it surely better, because it is homemade.

2c chopped almonds,
7 oz hershey bar,
1 lb butter,
2c sugar,
Directions
1. Chop Chocolate and Almonds and spread half of the mixture on a cookie sheet.
2. In a large glass bowl, put 2 cups of sugar and 4 sticks of butter. 3. Microwave it on high for 3 mins. Take out stir.
4. Put back in Microwave and cook another 3 minutes. Take out and whisk for 2-3 minutes until the butter and sugar is incorporated and mixture is thick and creamy.
5. Put back in Microwave for 6 1/2 minutes. Take out and pour over the chocolate/almond mixture on the cookie sheet.
6. Spread out the sugar/butter mixture with a spatula, top with remaining chocolate/almond mixture.
7. Gently pat down and put in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
8. Cut into pieces and enjoy.
