French Macaroons Recipe
This is the best ever almond macaroons I have ever tasted! you have landed in the right place. It is generally consumed as a yummy dessert. Stock up on more and more nuts as you will want to make this almond macaroons time and again. You will definitely thank me for sharing this almond macaroons.
Ingredients
2 cups (225 g) ground almonds
1 cup (225 g) sugar
4 egg whites, beaten
Directions
Line baking sheets with rice paper.
Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
In a medium bowl, stir almonds, sugar and beaten egg whites until blended.
Fill a pastry bag fitted with a plain nozzle with mixture.
Pipe small rounds onto rice paper, leaving enough space between each for spreading during cooking.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden.
Cool on rice paper.
When macaroons are cool, cut around each one and trim off excess rice paper.

I have the same recipe, I got it in one book, but my macaroons exploded, why did this happened??? Perhaps my oven was to hot?

Hi Edu, a very hot oven and over beaten egg whites may cause you macroons to collapse during baking.

Well, it was not the same, it added 3 ounces of dark chocolate.
