Almond Crumb Turkey Cakes Recipe
Ingredients
1 16-ounce package ground turkey
1/4 cup minced parsley
1 tablespoon grated onion
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon marjoram
1 egg
6 tablespoons butter or margarine softened
1/3 cup whole almonds, ground
1/3 cup dried bread crumbs
Directions
1. In large bowl, mix first 6 ingredients with 3 tablespoons butter or margarine until blended.
2. Shape turkey mixture into four 3/4-inch-thick ovals. On waxed paper, combine almonds and bread crumbs. Dip each turkey oval into almond mixture to coat completely.
3. In 12-inch skillet over medium heat, in 3 tablespoons hot butter or margarine, cook turkey cakes, turning once, until golden on both sides and well done, about 10 minutes.
