Almond Croissants Recipe
Ingredients
4 croissants
1/2 cup (125 ml) peanut butter
1/4 cup (60 ml) slivered almonds
2 tbsp (30 ml) butter
12 dates
1 tbsp (15 ml) liquid honey
1 tbsp (15 ml) roasted almonds
Directions
– Preheat oven to 400 °F (205 °C).
– Slice croissants in half.
– Mix peanut butter, almonds and butter in a food processor. Spoon mixture evenly over croissant halves. Place 3 halved dates on each croissant. Close and baste lightly with honey. Heat in oven for 8 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with roasted almonds.
