Cookies With Almond Meal Recipe

|Almond extract||1 Teaspoon|

Fold in the flour, ground almonds and almond extract.
Alternatively, put all the ingredients in a food processor and process for 2 seconds at a time, using the pulse control, until a smooth dough forms.
Pat the dough into a ball, wrap in transparent wrap and chill for at least 1 hour, until firm.
Heat the oven to 325 degrees.
Lightly butter 2 baking sheets.
Pinch off a teaspoon of dough at a time and roll it between your palms to form a small cylinder.
Bend the cylinders into crescents and put them on the baking sheets.
Bake for 10 minutes, then transfer the cookies to wire racks to cool.
Bake the remaining dough in the same way.
When the cookies are cool enough to handle, dredge them with the remaining 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar.
