Almond Cream Recipe
Almond Cream has an inimitable taste. The almonds and custard gives the Almond Cream an impressive taste. Almond Cream is inspired by restaurants universally.
Ingredients
| 3/4 pint thick custard made with custard powder or yolks of 2 eggs and 3/4 pint milk | ||
| Few drops almond essence | ||
| 3 average, sized macaroons, crumbled | ||
| Gelatine | 1 Tablespoon, powdered | |
| 1 gill water | ||
| Blanched almonds | 2 Ounce | |
| Few glace cherries | ||
Directions
Dissolve the gelatine in the water.
Add to the hot custard, together with almond essence and macaroon crumbs.
Put into mound and allow to set.
Split the almonds and brown under a grill or in the oven.
Turn out the cream and decorate with almonds and cherries.
