Almond Cookies Recipe
Eating just one is not possible for any one is my claim for this recipe of almond cookies. If you plan to cook an out of the ordinary snack, then you should probably go for this almond cookies. Trust me! I am saying that you must try this almond cookies.
Ingredients
1 1/4 cups sugar
2/3 cup shortening
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 beaten eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
In mixer bowl cream together sugar and shortening till light and fluffy.
Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Combine eggs, milk, almond extract, and vanilla.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with flour mixture, beating well after each addition.
Cover and chill dough 1 to 2 hours or overnight.
Roll dough on lightly floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness.
Cut with floured cookie cutters into desired shapes.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375° for 10 to 15 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
