All American Baked Beans Recipe

Ingredients
4 slices side bacon 4 slices
1/3 c. finely chopped onion 75 mL
2 Tbsp. molasses 30 mL
2 Tbsp. ketchup 30 mL
1/4 tsp. salt 1 mL
1/2 tsp. dry mustard 2 mL
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 5 mL
3 c. canned beans 750 mL
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a heavy skillet, fry the bacon until crisp; remove from the pan.
Add the onion to the pan and saute for a few minutes in the bacon fat.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Remove from the heat.
Pour into a 1 1/2 qt. (1.5 L) casserole; crumble the bacon into bits and sprinkle on top of the bean mixture.
Bake, uncovered, for about 30 minutes.
