All Purpose Onion Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 2 tablespoons corn oil margarine | ||
| Onion | 2 Tablespoon, finely chopped | |
| All purpose flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 1/2 cups vegetable broth, either homemade or canned | ||
| 2 teaspoons lite soy sauce | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground pepper | 1 To taste | |
Directions
In a saucepan over medium heat melt margarine.
Add onion.
Cook until light brown.
Stir in flour; remove from heat.
Stir in broth, soy sauce, salt and pepper.
Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
