All American Tofu Sandwiches Recipe

| Vegetable oil | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Tamari | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Garlic powder | ||
| Whole wheat bread slice | 8 | |
| Prepared mustard or ketchup | ||
| Eggless mayonnaise | ||
| Sliced tomato | ||
| Alfalfa sprouts | ||
Directions
Cut tofu into 1/2-inch thick slices. Let drain on paper towels.
Heat oil in a large skillet. Fry slices over medium-low heat, browning on both sides. Season with tamari and garlic. Drain on paper towels.
Assemble sandwiches.
