Alabama Baked Beans Recipe
Ingredients
| Bacon Slices | 4 | |
| Onion | 1 Small, chopped | |
| Green pepper | 1 Small, chopped | |
| 2 16-ounce cans pork and beans with tomato sauce, drained | ||
| 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar | ||
| Vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Dry mustard | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In a medium skillet cook bacon till crisp.
Drain and crumble, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings.
Cook onion and pepper in reserved drippings till tender.
Remove from heat.
Stir in beans, sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and bacon pieces; spoon into an 8x5 1/4 inch aluminum pan.
Place pan in center of the cooking grill.
Grill, uncovered, 30 to 40 minutes or till heated through and of desired consistency, stirring once halfway through grilling time.
