After The Game Chili Recipe
This After The Game Chili recipe easily finds way to the top of my favorite list. Stock up on plenty of bags of Chili as you will want to make this After The Game Chili time and again. It is a great Side Dish. Surely, After The Game Chili is a recipe one can try out any time.
Ingredients
1-1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small garlic clove, pressed
8 cups water
1 can whole tomatoes, undrained, cut up
1 can tomato paste
1 tablespoon salt
1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons chili powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 cups tubetti, uncooked
2 cans dark kidney beans, drained
Grated Cheddar cheese, if desired
Directions
Place ground beef, onion and garlic in a large heavy pot or Dutch oven.
Break up meat with a fork.
Cook over medium heat until meat is browned.
Add water, tomatoes with liquid, tomato paste, salt, chili powder, sugar and paprika.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
Bring to a full boil again.
Add tubetti and kidney beans, being sure mixture continues to boil.
Cover.
Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes longer, stirring often.
Sprinkle with grated Cheddar cheese, if desired.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
