After Dinner Mint Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups milk
1/2 cup honey
2 eggs
1/4 cup sifted powdered carob
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract
1 cup half-and-half
1 cup light cream
Directions
In a blender container, combine milk, honey, eggs, carob, and cornstarch, and process until well mixed.
Pour into a large saucepan, and cook over medium-high heat, while stirring constantly, until mixture bubbles and thickens slightly.
Remove from heat, and stir in peppermint extract.
Chill mixture in refrigerator.
When chilled, mix in half-and-half and light cream.
