Ingredients

 1 broiler-fryer chicken (2 to 2 1/2 pounds), cut up
 2 tablespoons peanut or other cooking oil
 Onion1 Medium, chopped
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), minced
 Beer3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Peanuts1/3 Cup (16 tbs)
 Lemon juice1 Tablespoon
 Honey1 Tablespoon
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon dried ground chili pepper or chili powder
 Ginger1/4 Teaspoon
 Milk cream3 Tablespoon
 Flour2 Tablespoon
 Flaked coconut1/4 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

MAKING
1) In a heavy skillet heat oil and brown chicken in it. Keep it aside.
2) Fry onion and garlic in the skillet till golden
3) Mix beer, peanuts, lemon juice, honey, and seasonings.
4) Put chicken into skillet. Cover and cook in simmering heat for 35 to 40 minutes till tender.
5) Transfer chicken into platter and keep warm.
6) In a bowl make a paste of cream and flour, using 2 tablespoons flour per 1 cup cooking liquid. 7) Mix coconut and cook stirring constantly till thick.
8) Pour the mixture over chicken.

SERVING
9) Pass some sauce to pour over rice or potatoes.
