Acorn Squash Recipe

Ingredients
1 small acorn squash
1 1/2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon ginger
Directions
1. Pierce squash and place whole on dish or rack. Cook, 6 to 8 minutes, rotating dish one-quarter turn and turning squash over halfway through cooking time.
2. When done, cut in half and remove seeds.
3. Divide butter, brown sugar, salt, and ginger in squash cavities. Cover with plastic wrap.
4. Cook in microwave oven at high temperature for 2 minutes. Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving.
