Ingredients

 Dried mushrooms4
 Water
 Chicken broth1 Cup (16 tbs)
 1 1-lb. can abalone, cut in 1-inch pieces; reserve liquid
 1 cup green onions, cut in 1-inch slices
 Celery1/3 Cup (16 tbs), diced
 Water chestnuts6 , thinly sliced
 Soy sauce1 1/2 Teaspoon
 White wine1 Teaspoon
 Cornstarch2 Teaspoon

Directions

Cover mushrooms with water and soak for 2 hours.
Drain and slice.
Heat broth and abalone liquid; add vegetables and simmer 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer until sauce is thick and clear.
