Ingredients

 
2-3 cups of chopped spinach
 
1 large tomato chopped
 
2 red chillis
 
1/4 onion chopped
 
3 gloves garlic
 
1 potato, chopped
 
1/4 tsp haldi/ turmeric
 
1/4 tsp red chilli powder
 
Salt to taste
 
Oil
 
Final Bhagar
 
Sliced onion
 
1 tsp zeera
 
Sliced garlic
 
1 tbsp clarified butter/ ghee/ oil

Directions

Crush garlic cloves and red chili.
Heat oil and add crusheed garlic and chili. Saute it.
Add onions and saute it for about two minutes.
Add potatoes and fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add haldi, red chili powder, salt. Mix it.
Add tomatoes and then spinach.
Stir it properly.
After about two minutes, cover the pan and let vegetables cook.
Add water if needed.
For baghar, heat ghee. Add zeera and crackle it.
Add onion and garlic. Saute it.
Fry it until onion is golden brown.
Add baghar to aaloo palak.
Mix it well.
Dry up spinach and aaloo palak is ready to serve.
