Quickly saute 1 or 2 split garlic cloves in a small amount of oil, and discard the garlic.
Starting with the large, denser vegetables, add approximately 1 cup each of broccoli and cauliflower florets, 1/2 cup each sliced celery, diced red pepper, sprouts, onion rings, or seal lions, and even some baby corn if it is available.
Saute the vegetables for a minute or two until crisp tender.
Stir in some soy sauce, sesame oil to taste, and hoisin sauce, if you have it.
Freshly grated ginger is another plus.
