1 pound meat loaf mixture

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 envelope (1 1/2 ounces) spaghetti sauce mix

1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce

1 cup water

1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated butterflake dinner rolls

1 cup ricotta cheese

4 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded (1 cup)

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Brown meat loaf mixture in oil in a medium size skillet until no pink remains (about 10 minutes); break into small pieces with a fork; sprinkle with spaghetti sauce mix; stir in tomato sauce, then water.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat simmer, stirring often, for 20 minutes, or until very thick.
Remove dinner rolls from package (12 rolls in package); separate each roll to make 24 thinner rolls; place 12 in a layer on bottom of a 9 inch pie plate; press edges together to cover bottom; spoon 1/2 cup ricotta evenly over roll layer; top with half the cooked meat mixture; sprinkle with 1/2 cup mozzarella; repeat layers of ricotta, meat and mozzarella; top with remaining rolls.
Bake in moderate oven (375°) for 15 minutes; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese; bake 5 minutes longer, or until rolls are golden brown.
Cut into wedges to serve.
