3 in 1 Freezer Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
3 broiler fryer chickens, cut up
1 sprig parsley
1 celery stalk with leaves, cut up
1 carrot, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Place all ingredients (with giblets) in large kettle.
Add enough water to cover (about 3 quarts).
Heat until water boils.
Reduce heat; cover tightly and simmer until done, about 45 minutes.
Remove meat from broth.
Cool quickly.
Place pieces of 1 chicken in 2 quart freezer container; refrigerate.
Remove skin and meat from remaining chickens.
Cut meat into pieces (about 6 cups); refrigerate.
Add enough water to cover (about 3 quarts).
Heat until water boils.
