I am the Raw Food Fitness Coach. Growing up through my teens and into my adulthood being a weight trainer/body builder, I used to think the best way to get protein was to eat red meat, chicken, fish, eggs and protein powders, such as whey. Being in the personal training industry for over 20 years, I thought I had all the answers to build muscle mass. Little did I know the true power of raw foods. When I first heard about the raw food lifestyle I thought it would be a great way to cleanse the body. So I decided to give it a try and man was I in for a surprise. Not only did I have lots of energy but I realized that I had a lot of stamina to get through my 2 hour weight training routine. Then I started to notice that my strength was increasing such as squats, presses and arm curls. After a few months I took measurements and noticed that I was really getting bigger. I thought WOW!!! Popeye was right all along. What started out as a 2 week cleanse, turned into a completed lifestyle for me. I am making it my life mission to the spread the word of raw foods and fitness.
